Heejung helps spearhead the distribution of Direxion ETFs across the APAC region from the company's Hong Kong office, where he develops and manages relationships with a wide range of industry stakeholders, including retail brokers, trading platforms, private banks, wealth managers, institutional investors, and financial media. He has over 13 years of expertise in the global exchange traded product marketplace. Prior to joining Direxion, Heejung was a senior institutional trader at Flow Traders in Singapore and Hong Kong, where he traded globally listed ETFs over the counter (OTC) with institutional counterparties across the Asia-Pacific region. He also held ETP sales roles at Deutsche Bank and Deutsche Asset Management in New York and London, primarily distributing Xtrackers ETPs. Heejung holds a bachelor’s degree in Financial Economics from Columbia University in the City of New York, where he graduated magna cum laude.
