Jamie was E*TRADE’s SVP of Advertising, Marketing & Creative Services in New York City, where he spearheaded their famous Super Bowl Baby ads, and was CMO of the E*TRADE Canada start-up that was sold to SCOTIABANK. With a global marketing & digital mandate, he focused on active traders, serious investors, options, futures, mobile and global trading. This led to being Board Director and Consultant at RECOGNIA prior to the sale to TRADING CENTRAL.
Mike Foy is Managing Director and Head of Wealth Intelligence at J.D. Power. He works with leading financial services brands to more effectively measure and improve the experience of their financial advisors and clients, ultimately driving greater engagement, loyalty, and advocacy. With over two decades of experience in the wealth management industry, Mike previously served as Global Head of Client Insights at Citi Wealth. His expertise has earned him recognition as a thought leader, with features in The Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, and The New York Times, as well as keynote speaking engagements at industry conferences. Mike earned a bachelor’s degree in English literature and philosophy from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania and an MBA in Marketing from Rutgers Business School.
Theresa spent over 30 years reviewing software, websites, and apps that serve investors and traders. Her byline appeared in Barron’s for 23 years, where she established that publication’s annual Online Broker Reviews, ranked #1 in credibility by ConsumerSearch over a period of ten years. She was a senior editor at Investopedia from 2018-2020, and is now semi-retired, consulting to startup fintech firms and established brokers looking to pivot to new services.
Rob has been writing about personal finance, investing, economics and business for more than 35 years. In his decades as personal finance columnist for The Globe and Mail, Rob made a priority of covering the digital brokerage space and annually published a widely read broker ranking. Rob’s broker insights also reflect his many interactions over the years with DIY investors of all ages.
Michael Ellison is a leader in customer experience research for financial services as well as healthcare and higher education. Michael confounded Corporate Insight to address the competitive research needs necessary to help financial companies improve their marketing, customer service and product offerings.
Matt is responsible for the product lifecycle and customer experience for active trader products at E*TRADE. Prior to joining E*TRADE in 2016, Matt worked for OptionsHouse (acquired by E*TRADE) and Scottrade in a variety of product and strategy roles. He holds FINRA Series 7 and 66 registrations.
